| Details | Information on websites regarding student counseling services in 331 universities in the USA was analyzed. Reading website contents indicated 36 information categories related to these services. Results of analyzing these categories indicated that many student counseling services in universities in the USA have sufficient information to utilize. To make clear the features of American universities, comparison analysis conducted. Differences were found between the USA and Japan in the categories of information. Websites in the USA had more information than those in Japan, and moreover, the information gap among the universities was smaller compared to Japan. It is suggested that the differences in the websites of the two countries reflect differences in attitude regarding student counseling services in the USA and Japan. |
