Details IFLA is committed to supporting and contributing to the implementation of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, which includes the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) adopted by the United Nations in 2015. Mr. Hiroshi Kawamura, who has served as IFLA's long-serving committee member in charge of services for people with disabilities, will give a lecture with the aim of creating an inclusive library based on the SDGs philosophy of "no one left behind". Taro MIURA, chairperson of the international relations committee, JLA, will report on countermeasures taken by libraries around the world. Next, Misako Nomura, a member of the IFLA Asia/Oceania regional committee, will introduce IFLA's method of collecting examples of SDGs. We will exchange opinions on how the Japanese library community is communicating about SDGs.
