Details | In German-speaking countries, where migration has brought about great social changes in recent decades, many writers with multicultural and multilingual backgrounds have received much attention. In this project, we focus on multilingual Swiss writers in the first half of the 20th century (such as Robert Walser and Friedrich Glauser) as well as more contemporary Eastern-European translator-authors (including Ilma Rakusa, Christina Viragh, and Terezia Mora) and explore their potential to create a new kind of culture. |
