Details This dissertation contains three chapters on policy design with imperfect information which are divided into two parts. The first part consists of Chapter 1 and Chapter 2, and the second part is Chapter 3. In Chapter 1, I deal with the problem of endogenous policy announcement by the central bank adopting inflation targeting in a New Keynesian framework with imperfect information. Next, I tackle design of monetary policy committees in Chapter 2. I explore an optimal personnel organization problem of monetary policy committees by constructing a macroeconomic model which starts from decision-making by the monetary policy committee. Finally, I study the relationship among population size, strategic interdependence and information use of agents in a simple voting model.
