Details | SHASE-S218_<-2008> (Heating, Air-Conditioning, and Sanitary Standard) stipulates that the evaluated drainage system performance should fall within ±400 Pa. However, the vibration and loss of trap seal water should be regarded as vibration reply phenomena, which are produced by pressure forces in the pipe, and the standard value is not necessarily optimal. Therefore we built a stack vent drainage system in a full-scale drainage experiment tower to carry out an experiment under a constant discharge load. We analyzed the relationship between vibrations from the pipe pressure and seal for three types of test traps and classified the pressure vibration waveform into three categories: pulse wave, resonance wave, and standing wave. We then clarified the influences that each type of pressure vibration exerted on the seal vibration. |
