| Details | 古英語の宗教詩 The Dream of the Rood は、最も重要な部分を謎めいた手法で描き出すゲルマン詩の手法による難解なキリスト教詩で、おそらく核となる小詩に継ぎ足しをして作られ、一見すると統一感に欠けた印象がある。本論文では、先行研究において詩の結末部分が単なる付け足しとみなされ、注目されてこなかった事実を指摘し、結末部分と詩本体を有機的に結びつければ、本作品に「召命」という隠されたテーマがあると結論づけた。 |
