| Details | This paper reviews the German Third Reform Act on Victims' Rights of 2015, which was enacted under the influence of the Directive 2012/29/EU of the European Parliament and of the Council of 25 October 2012 establishing minimam standards on the rights, support and protection of victims of crime. The Act expanded the victims' right to obtain information and the protection of vitims and witnesses during examination, and made concrete provisions on the psychosocial escort etc. At the same time the Act on the psychosocial escort in criminal procedure was also enacted. |
