Details	1990年代における大蔵省および日銀の天下りに焦点を当て、「なぜ天下りが発生するのか」について４つの仮説（人的資本仮説、コミュニケーション仮説、モニタリング仮説、給与補償仮説）を示した。さらに統計解析による検証の結果、業績の良い銀行に天下りが起こるという給与補償仮説が最も強く支持されることを明らかにした。
