| Details | Websites of 242 universities were analyzed to determine how information on student counseling services is presented. Reading the web content indicated that 25 information categories related to such services, and that the number of information categories increased in proportion to the size of universities. Through the analysis of web content, the type of information was categorized into two latent dimensions: "the provision of information" and "the diversification of information". Using these two dimensions, information categories was classified as "important information", "additional information", and "special information". The pattern of information in the websites of student counseling services was classified into four groups, and the characteristics of each group were described. Finally, several ideas regarding the publication of information on student counseling services in university websites were suggested. |
