Details This paper deals with the iterative design method of closed-loop identification and IMC (Internal Model Control) for input time delay systems with the disturbance observer. IMC
is known as an effective control method to time delay ystems, however, accurate parameter identification is needed in achieving the effective control performance. Moreover, the disturbance
observer also needs accurate parameters similar as IMC. Then, the model with high accuracy
will be identified by repeating IMC with the disturbance observer and closed-loop identification.
In this paper, the iterative design method to the time delay system with the disturbance observer
is shown by experiment results.
