概要 We previously proposed a system to design 3D object using interactive evolutionary computing (IEC), which enables people without expert knowledge or skills to design objects satisfactorily. To efficiently obtain the optimal design solution, this system introduces the sensibility evaluation value (SEV) concerning the desired design into IEC. In this paper, we comprehensively evaluated this design system in an objective way by EEG analysis. Questionnaire survey is also taken to support the analysis. As a result, it was shown that the amount of α-wave in EEG increased after designing an object without using SEV, while it did not when SEV was used. As to the result of questionnaire survey, the evaluation of the obtained objects without using SEV was as high as that using SEV. This means that when SEV is not used, wide variety of design samples appear on the PC display, and the user has to be concentrated to select his/her favorite ones among them.
