Details In this paper, we propose a harmonized model for Multi-Stage and Multi-Item balancing between inventory reduction and load leveling. Based on multi-level structure and demand dependency between products and parts, we formulate a harmonized model at a part process (supplier), with net requirements calculated by bill of material. This model is characterized by easy estimation of production parameters with fewer data than former methods (linear programming).
