Details In this study, a questionnaire survey was conducted in 1498 nursing professionals in Prefecture X in order to verify the reliability and validity of our scale. The items used for the scale were determined based on previous studies on safety education. As a result, a total of five scales consisting of 3 subscales corresponding to "hazard sensitivity" and 2 subscales corresponding to "risk sensitivity" (in a narrow sense) were extracted; the cumulative percentage was 51.2%; the Kaiser-Meyer-Olkin (KM) measure was 0.963; the constructive concept and the content validity were considered to be accepted. It was suggested that these scales were useful for understanding the risk sensitivity of nursing professionals.
