| Details | This paper discusses the significance of the reforms implemented the Russian army under the reign of Peter the Great (1682-1725). This period in Russian history was marked by the success of their military strength, which was leverage to establish the Russian Empire. When Peter succeeded to the throne. Russia was economically underdeveloped, various measures had to be undertaken for the modernization of the country.
