Details This research surveys records of repair order from home owners. Firstly, it focuses on height of window openings. 93% of the damaged windows exist on the first floor and are located within the height of 1.5m from the ground. On the upper floor, most of damaged windows face balconies near-by holds, such as drainpipes. Then it categorises positions of damage windows in relation to the streets. The damages are mainly found at the back of the houses, or at over 6m from streets. These suggest that importance of "natural surveillance" from neighbors and of "access control" of blind zone.
