Details | The author proposes ecological constructionism as a basis of interdisciplinary study on human nature covering the social, natural and human sciences. Although the application of evolutionary biology approach to human nature had been debated for a long time, in the 1990s established research on evolutionary psychology revealed co-operative traits were core factors which explained human nature. As behavioral economics and brain science have developed, based on evolution, over the last two decades, the debate could have a good outcome. In this paper that applies the concept of social constructionism to the ancient ecological environment, a new fundamental rule for interdisciplinary study is formulated. This rule might be significant enough to use for the systematic rebuilding of environmental geography. |
