概要 This research clarifies principals for designing a learning environment where undergraduate students perform as a head taller. It seems for undergraduate students to tend to do anything within their abilities, not beyond because of institutional and motivational constraints. Therefore, the author held a session of “head-taller, which was improvisation, in class, to help the students make a breakthrough in their lives. The authors identified that the students perform as a head taller in the improvisation and then they began to elaborate new activities beyond themselves after that. The authors surveyed what factors fostered students to perform as a head taller. As a result of data analysis, there is two critical design principal, that are to assume that (1) there is a community like an ensemble which all members contribute something to relate each other and (2) there is a rule-governed relationship.
