Details In omni-channel retailing, this study cleared that the barriers mentioned in previous research also apply to Japanese fashion companies, both select shop type and SPA type, and clarified how they were able to overcome them.​Based on the above, we constructed a transformation process model for omni-channelization transformation by select shop type and SPA type fashion companies in JAPAN.​We clarified the similarities and differences between select shop type and SPA type fashion companies during omni-channelization.​It was revealed that upstream DX of SCM is also essential for SPA-type fashion companies to realize omnichannel retailing.​We discovered that omnichannel research and SCM research are connected through inventory management.​
