Details This study reports practice of a Japanese language class with the theme of "coexistence" for intermediate to upper-intermediate learners of Japanese. This practice was conducted with the following goals: 1) to consider the problems of coexisting with different people, how to solve them and what one can do for oneself, 2) to be able to do them in Japanese, and 3) to be able to communicate in an easy-to-understand manner.
