Details | This paper compares the conventional and proposed methods of time delay estimation. The conventional method determines the time delay by minimizing the loss function. Therefore, this conventional method directly considers the effect time delay makes in estimation. In this paper, the conventional and proposed methods are compared in estimating the time delay in case of fast response system and slow response system. It is shown that the conventional method is not appropriate in time delay estimation with slow response system by simulation. Finally, both time-delay models are compared in discrete state predictive servo control. |
