Details The financial statements of JAXA, NASA and Astro Space Ltd, which operate in space, are analysed and management problems are analysed from the characteristics of their financial statements. Based on the results, similarities with the management of the British East India Company are pointed out, and it is argued that a global agreement on space exploration planning, management and ethical formation is needed. Space is moving from being a place of scientific exploration to a place of business and security. Space exploration practices for this purpose are advancing rapidly, and cost and value measurement is essential for decision-making there. This research is intended to provide a bird's-eye view of what management problems and challenges exist in space and suggest directions for solutions.
