Details	This study investigates what kind of social impact Snowden's revelations have in Japan and China mainly through qualitative analyses of the results of questionnaire surveys of and follow-up interviews with university students in these countries taking the tradition and reality of state surveillance and socio-cultural environments in the two countries into account.
